How to create extra bathroom storage
These nifty New Zealanders are set to totally transform our tired old spaces into two truly awesome bathrooms. The best bit? It’s not going to cost an arm and a leg!
“We’re looking forward to showing you guys what can be done with not much money,” Georgia, aka “Mooch” says.
Continuing the theme from the Make It Yours Master Bedroom, the couple will be adding VJ wall panelling to both bathrooms, giving the rooms a lovely two-tone look. They’ll paint the tiles and use a blue and white colour scheme to continue the coastal look featured elsewhere in the house. They’ll also replace old fittings with modern matte black tapware.
“The dingy basins are out, and new, modern vanities are in,” says Shayden, who will also show us how easy it is to change out tired, dated cabinetry. The couple will also be adding some ingenious storage solutions. “It’s going to be a big transformation – on a small budget,” Shayden promises.
Along the way, Shayden and Mooch will have help from three Bunnings team members, who’ll be on hand to show how easy it is to attempt their transformations at home, via simple ‘How To’ videos.
