What does good drainage look like?
To meet Healthy Homes regulations for moisture ingress and drainage:
- The property must have sufficient drainage, covering storm water, surface water, ground water, and an appropriate outfall
- A system of gutters, downpipes and drains for displacing water from the roof
- If the property has a subfloor, it must be fitted with a ground moisture barrier if it's practical to do so
