What does good heating look like?
To meet Healthy Homes regulations for heating, your home's main room must be sufficiently heated by one or more fixed heating solutions, which must be at least 1.5kW in heating capacity. These heaters must be fixed, not portable, and cannot include an open fire or an unflued combustion heater.
If an electric heater or heat pump is part of your heating solution, it must include a thermostat.
In certain cases, geothermal heating may be used if it meets government guidelines.
