Summit Steel & Wire reinforcing links are pre-bent to standard configurations that can be readily used on site. The primary role of links and stirrups is to resist shear force in beams or piles. They can also be used to hold the bars together and make it easy to fabricate and place your reinforcement, as well as preventing buckling and providing stability.

Links and stirrups act as spacers and help keep the reinforcement cage of a beam/column in shape.
