Once the back of your mirror is squeaky clean add your mounting strips. Each strip holds 1.6kg of weight – they might be small, but they're mighty! Our mirror weighed 7kg, so we needed to use at least five strips. Just peel the backing off and place onto your mirror's back. Place your strips vertically for added strength and evenly space them out, ensuring you have at least one strip in each corner. Add more to the middle if you need to.
Once you've prepped your mirror, measure up where you'd like it to go – we used a tape measure and a level to make sure we got it nice and straight, then marked our desired spot with a pencil.
Once you've got your mirror in position, grab some timber blocks (or packing blocks) and tape them into position – these are what will help your mirror stay up while the glue strips bind to the wall.
Remove the backing strips from your adhesive stickers, grab some safety gloves and glasses (just in case it falls) and lift your mirror into position. Rest it on the blocks, lining up with the marks you've made. Push firmly and apply pressure evenly over each strip for at least 30 seconds so they bind properly with the wall. You'll need to give the mounting strips 72 hours to cure, so keep your blocks in place and pop some tape over your mirror in each corner for added peace-of-mind.
And you're done, how easy was that? In just a few steps you've hung your mirror with no mess and no fuss. Genius!
