Team- Bunnings sausage sizzle- MND NZ- 2026

On Saturday 6 June, Bunnings is hosting a nationwide sausage sizzle to raise funds in support of Motor Neurone Disease NZ’s (MND NZ) annual fundraiser, MND Action Month.

Bunnings team members across the country will pull run BBQs across our stores, with all proceeds raised from the sizzles to go directly towards MND NZ’s work to support New Zealanders impacted by Motor Neurone Disease.

MND NZ is the only charity in New Zealand that focuses on providing support, education, advocacy and research for people affected by Motor Neurone Disease, including carers, whānau, and health professionals.

Funds raised through MND Action Month will be used to support further research and clinical trials, with the goal of working towards a future without Motor Neurone Disease.

In 2025, Bunnings supported MND NZ for the second year running, raising over $50,000 through national fundraising. 

Visit your local Bunnings on Saturday 6 June and show your support for MND NZ, every bit counts in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease.

Stores for Paws is back! From Friday 17 April to Sunday 19 April, Bunnings is supporting local animal welfare and rescue groups in New Zealand.

Local groups will fundraise through sausage sizzles, host pet adoption days, and raise awareness through a range of activities. Plus, every store will run a free pet-themed Kids D.I.Y. Workshop and other fun-filled fundraising events across all stores.

This initiative connects thousands of pets with their forever homes while directly supporting animal rescue and welfare groups across the country.
