Blitzem is a trusty Snail & Slug bait used by many New Zealanders to control Slugs & Snails in their garden. It is a pelletised bait which contains a poison which kills the slug or snail by dehydration. The tab on the side of the box makes it easy to scatter the pellets without skin contact. Simple to use, scatter the pellets evenly, around 5cm apart, around small seedlings and other plants, wherever the slugs and snails are likely to cause damage. Bait the garden thoroughly at the beginning of each planting season and repeat as necessary at 7 to 10 day intervals or after heavy rain.
How It Works: This product is a stomach poison that dehydrates snails after they eat the bait.
Directions for use: Scatter pellets evenly 5cm apart (20g/square metre) around small seedlings and other plants, wherever slugs and snails are likely to cause damage.
