  • If painting, the flashings should be cleaned and primed with an etch primer followed by two topcoats of paint.
These stainless steel flashings are compatible with the preservative treatment used on IBuilt CoreClad. New Zealand manufactured in both 304 and 316 grade stainless steel. *316 grade stainless steel is more resistant to pitting and crevice corrsion in coastal environments than 304. *316 grade stainless steel flashings should be used where appearance is important.
