The Empire 3/4" (19mm thickness) Brass Stair Gauges are used for making repeated angle cuts on rafters and stairs. The gauges are crafted with solid brass to help ensure strength and feature sure-grip thumb screws for control. The hexagonal shape allow these gauges to fit tightly with your work piece.
When set at riser and tread dimensions it is easy to slide the framing or rafter square along the work piece without making mistakes in measurements.
