How to make ladybug fridge magnets
Gather your tools and materials
Spray paint the bottle caps
You might need some help with this step. To paint our bottle caps, we chose a vibrant red paint that's made for metal. When using spray paint, be sure to wear gloves and a mask. Use your spray paint in a well ventilated area. You might even be able to go outside. Get mum or dad to help with the spray painting task. Once you've sprayed the bottle tops, leave the paint to dry.
Bring your ladybugs to life
Give your ladybugs some personality. Use your sharpie to draw on a face, wings and some spots. Draw a semi-circle for the face, a line down the centre creates wings and then add some spots.
Attach the magnets
Use superglue to attach magnets to the bottle top ladybugs. Get a grown up to help with this part of the project.
Add goggle eyes
Use a paddle pop stick to apply some PVA glue to the back of each goggle eye and stick it to the bottle top.
Put the ladybugs on your fridge
They look cute and are the perfect family pet, which will be right at home on the fridge.
