The RYOBI 18V ONE+ HP Brushless Impact Driver delivers exceptional fastening power to drive long or large screws into dense materials. Compared to the previous model (RID18X), this tool offers higher torque (twisting power) and IPM (impacts per minute). This Impact Driver is great for demanding applications such as driving long screws into hardwood, metal and dense materials. The high performance brushless motor produces up to 320Nm of torque, speeds of 3,400rpm and up to 4,200 impacts per minute. Four preset driving modes and a variable speed trigger offer enhanced control for every task. Mode 1 (max. 950rpm, 160Nm) is suitable for light-duty screwdriving with small screws, while modes 2 (max. 2,100rpm, 250nm) and 3 (max. 3,400rpm, 320Nm) support medium to heavy applications with increased torque and speed. Select auto-assist mode to avoid overdriving or stripping fasteners. In forward motion, it starts slow and ramps up to 235Nm. Reverse motion triggers the tool to pulse six times before reaching the same peak torque, which is particularly effective for removing damaged or stubborn screws. The 6.35mm (¼”) quick-release collet accepts any ¼” hex-shank driving bit, allowing quick bit changes for different screw head types and materials. The integrated LED work light automatically switches on with the trigger to illuminate dimly-lit work areas. This Impact Driver is compatible with any battery from the RYOBI ONE+ range.
