This next-generation model is lighter than the previous one (RDD18C) yet still generates more torque (twisting power). Its compact design offers excellent handling overhead and in tight spots. Use the Drill Driver for everyday jobs like assembling flatpack furniture, mounting picture frames/wall art, repairing cabinet and door hinges, fitting door handles and installing TV brackets. Equipped with the right drill bit, this tool produces holes in timber, plastic and thin metal. So it’s great for DIY projects like building a birdhouse, storage chest, shelving unit, cabinet or wardrobe organiser. A brushless motor delivers an impressive 60Nm of torque to fasten screws into dense materials (including hardwood) with speed and precision. The 2-speed gearbox enables you to switch between high-speed drilling and low-speed driving. Use the 24 clutch settings to adjust torque for different fastener and material types. These settings offer enhanced control so you can avoid overstripping screws and drive them to specific depths. A 13mm keyless chuck offers a secure grip on bits and enables quick changes between drilling and driving attachments.
