Galvanised Timber Deck Nail (A/G) – Countersunk Head
This nail is commonly used for fastening 37-40mm timber decking it has a superior holding power with an annular grooved shank. The countersunk head on this nail holds the decking in place without damaging the timber.
Annular Grooved (A/G) or Ring Shank
This shank has been mechanically rolled to leave a number of sharp rings. These rings act like barbs against the timber fibres, vastly increasing the holding power of the nail. This nail shank is used where increased holding is required.
