Uses: This nail is used for fixing timber palings with a thickness of 19mm or 25mm. The annular grooved shank has extra holding power. The flat head helps eliminate pull through.
Annular Grooved (A.G.) or Ring Shank
This shank has been mechanically rolled to leave a number of sharp rings. These rings act like barbs against the timber fibres, vastly increasing the holding power of the nail. This nail shank is used where increased holding is required.

Galvanised Nails
Have been coated after manufacture with zinc for corrosion protection. For exterior use or where moisture may occur. (Stainless Steel Nails are recommended for areas exposed to high corrosion)
