Gold Passivated Plasterboard Clout Nail (Annular Grooved)
Uses: For fixing Plasterboard, 40mm nail used for fixing 12.5mm and 30mm nail used for fixing 9.5mm plasterboard. This shank has been mechanically rolled to leave a number of sharp rings. These rings act like barbs against the timber fibres, vastly increasing the holding power of the nail. This nail shank is used where increased holding is required. (Please refer to manufacturer guidelines for application instructions for these nails).

Clout Head
A thin diameter head (can be more than 2.5 times the shank thickness). This nail is used mainly for attaching sheet materials and other products to timber.
