This wheel is off our flagship wheelbarrow and others. It is a strong, wide wheel with wide flats around the rim to help prevent pinching punctures.
It is supplied with a heavy duty, 4-ply tyre that weighs 2.4kg compared to standard wheelbarrow tyres that weigh only 0.9kg. The extra weight goes into the thick tread which gives the tyre durability and puncture resistance. The butyl rubber inner tube stays hard eons longer than the cheaper natural rubber inner tubes. The rim is manufactured from heavy galvanised sheet metal, so it won't rust when the paint is scratched.
The bearings are for 25.4mm diameter axles. The centre width is 80mm.
This wheel fits New Zealand Wheelbarrows' Tradesman, Tradesman Metal XL, Tradesman Double Galvanised XL, Constructor, and Concreter Wheelbarrows.
