Jiffy Peat Pellets are made of compressed peat, wood pulp and coir pith that expand with water to provide the ideal growing medium for seeds. The pellets give plants the best start in life. When seedlings are large enough to handle, they are simply planted “pellet and all” into the garden, preventing transplant shock by not disturbing the plant’s fragile root system.
