Bunnings is expanding its automotive range in stores across New Zealand, giving customers access to more products and more trusted brands.
Following the successful expansion of the category in 2025, Bunnings is going even bigger with around 20 per cent more space dedicated to automotive across the store network to drive further growth and support a wider mix of customer needs, including car, 4WD, campervan and marine products.
Customers now have access to 300 additional automotive products rolling out in coming months, which builds on the 700 already available, taking the total instore automotive range to around 1,000 products. Customers will see a stronger physical presence in stores, for easier navigation and greater convenience, with more bays catering to the wider range and introduction of new brands including Liqui Moly (oils) and WIX Filters (oil filters), complementing existing top brands such as Meguiar’s and Armor All.
Bunnings General Manager New Zealand, Melissa Haines, said: “We are seeing strong demand from Kiwi customers for our automotive offer, and this expansion means more choice, more trusted brands and greater convenience in stores across New Zealand.
“With more than five million vehicles registered across New Zealand, broadening our automotive range helps to make it easier for customers to find the products they need, all in one place.
“To give customers more choice, this expansion goes beyond car owners and also benefits owners of 4WDs, campervans and boats.”
New and expanded products include 4WD accessories such as towing and recovery gear, lighting and car technology, as well as marine relevant items available through the automotive aisle, like boat wash and marine oil.
The automotive range expansion applies to 40 Bunnings stores across New Zealand.
