The 40V max XGT® Brushless 82mm AWS® Planer delivers powerful performance with a high-speed 15,000 RPM motor for rapid stock removal. It offers a planning width of up to 82mm and a cutting depth of up to 4mm in a single pass. The Makita-built brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently, ensuring a longer lifespan. Equipped with a 2-blade cutter head and double-edge carbide blades, this planer provides superior performance and a smooth finish. Key features include a spring-loaded stand that elevates the base to protect both the blades and workpiece, along with a click-depth adjustment knob featuring an easy-to-read scale with 0mm to 4mm settings for precise depth control. The precision-machined aluminum base enhances planning accuracy and includes three chamfering groove options. For added convenience, chip ejection can be directed to either side of the tool.
