The Makita TW002G is a cordless impact wrench powered by the 40Vmax XGT BL system, offering a powerful 1,700 N•m (1,250 ft.lbs.) of torque. Based on the TW001G, this model features a change in the anvil's tip shape, now equipped with a 12.7mm (1/2″) square drive instead of the previous 19mm (3/4″) square drive. This makes it ideal for tasks like automobile undercarriage maintenance and work on construction sites where high torque and a 12.7mm (1/2″) square drive are required. Despite its high torque output, the TW002G is compact, providing excellent handling and control for users.
