These Cobalt Drill Bits are constructed with an M35 5% cobalt blend that can withstand extreme levels of abrasion and heat. The tip has a 135° split point, which prevents the bit from wandering and provides more precision on startup. Four cutting chamfers* on the tip support faster drill speeds, produce cleaner holes and provide maximum material contact. The tapered core provides additional strength to prevent bit breakage. Its flute shape is designed to rapidly eject chips and material while supporting faster drilling speeds. The 3 flat shank** helps to reduce chuck slippage and provide more precision. *Drill bit sizes of 4.5mm and below do not feature four cutting chamfers. **Drill bits measuring 4.5mm and below do not feature a 3 flat shank.
