The Empire 1800mm Digital Spirit Level features seven measuring modes and is auto-calibrated to provide fast and accurate readings. Setting up is simple with no manual calibration or a vial sync required. Use the 1800mm length for checking extended surfaces across brick walls, foundations, aligned cabinets, ceilings and floors. Use the extra length to ensure beams and posts are plumb, too. Inspect mode is great for transferring readouts for slopes and angles. Use it to recreate grade measurements for building access ramps and other slopes. The seven measuring modes (four precision, three rough-in) offer versatility for different applications. Select degree tenths (1.1°), degree hundredths (1.15°), mm/m (104.17 mm/m), percentage (2%), degree (1°), in/ft fractional (¼ in/ft) or in/ft decimal (.25 in/ft). Use the audio indicator for hands-free levelling without compromising on accuracy. This feature produces a tone that gradually increases in pitch and tempo when it senses a surface is closer to level level. When it senses a surface is level, a solid ongoing tone is emitted. This feature is ideal for adjusting cabinets and other workpieces when the vials aren’t visible. The high contrast e-BAND™ solid block acrylic vials can be viewed in all lighting conditions. Set the Power Save mode to turn off automatically after 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours of inactivity. The shock-absorbing endcaps offer protection from small knocks and falls. Remove both endcaps to make readings on vertical surfaces even more accurate. The included case provides even more protection during storage and transport. This Spirit Level is ready to use straight out of the box with 2 x AA batteries included.
