Various tiles, panels, stones and textures used to create an earthy feel outdoors
Build an earth-inspired palette of natural textures and sandy hues, with a curated collection of materials from Tuscan Path.

Well grounded

Like designing an interior, building a backyard landscape from scratch is all about selecting the right materials, layering colour and texture to create a cohesive scheme. One of the most effective ways to find inspiration is to look to the landscapes around you: walk the streets, bush or coast, and identify colours, foliage types and raw materials that speak to you. Take these ideas home to your own backyard and choose from a palette of luxurious (yet cost-effective) materials from Tuscan Path to bring your nature-inspired look to life.

Made by nature

For a natural garden look, let your plantings play the starring role and frame them with a supporting cast of raw elements, like warm timber, pale stone and smooth pebbles, such as Tuscan Path’s natural pebble mix. Keep practicality front of mind too: natural stone pebbles paired with Tuscan Path’s porcelain pavers create a chic-looking, durable area that stands up to family living.

Make a statement

Add a contrasting statement piece to attract the eye – with weathering steel, for example. This material is tough, maintenance-free and its romantic rust colour marries beautifully with a natural palette, while still standing out. Maximise the effect of this eye-catching material by using it in a stylish patterned screen, like Tuscan Path’s ‘Leaf’ panel.

Statement pieces can also be polished and structured, rather than rustic and romantic. Whether opting for square garden beds or curved, keeping the edges defined provides a sense of calm and order. Use Tuscan Path composite edging to clearly divide garden from lawn. It not only looks tidy, but the combination of recycled plastic and wood fibre gets an eco-friendly tick of approval.

Elegant elements

Pots are a great way to accent your landscape, and plain white pots really pop against a natural-hued palette. Tuscan Path ‘Catalina’ pots in a soft, matte white elevate any plant into a stunning feature.
