There are thousands of options, all displayed at your local Bunnings store. Haven't got a clue where to start? Take a photo of the colour of your home, then show it to one of our friendly team members – they'll be more than happy to point you in the right direction and offer advice about what might be best for your front door.
Grab some masking tape or painters tape and mask up any areas you don't want to get paint on. Make sure you stick your tape down really well around your door handle – you don't want any paint to bleed onto it. While you're prepping your front door, pop a drop sheet down too to catch the drips.
We're using Taubmans in Mermaid Tail, which is a lovely fresh, green colour – it'll work perfectly with the grey tones of our house. Grab a paint stirrer and stir your paint tin for a few minutes, then pour into your paint tray.
Start by cutting in on the fiddly bits, using your paint brush. Once you've done this, you can use a paint roller for the surface of the door. You may want to consider giving your door several coats – just wait for it to dry between applications.
Take off all your masking tape carefully – and you're done! Let your door paint dry completely. If you're replacing your door handle, now's a good time to do that.
How great does your new door look? Trust us – you'll be the envy of everyone on your street.
