CEMIX AQUASTOP is a white, cement based, waterproofing membrane, designed for use on concrete and masonry surfaces in positive and negative pressure applications.
It is intended for interior and exterior applications when to be used in conjunction with a dry or damp, but not wet, securely fastened and properly supported to eliminate any movement that may cause cracking.
It should not be applied where the RH > 85% or where rain is expected within 48 hours of application.
Cemix Aquastop may be used on surfaces including concrete, masonry and exterior-use plaster. It may be left unpainted or painted as required.
The Cemix cement-based coatings do not have building code obligations. Code contribution arises when professionally applied.
E2 (External Moisture) & E3 (Internal Moisture), applicable performance criteria. The coatings only increase the durability of compliance.
B2 (Durability), B2.3.1(b). The durability of cement-based coatings is well established in NZ based on in-service use.
