An intense spirit-based dye for timber. Briwax dyes are pure colour (unlike stains that have both colour and finish elements). They can therefore be mixed either before or after application to the timber, and almost any colour achieved. For a lighter shade, mix with methylated spirits before or after application. Pure dye gives the most consistent colours, no tidemarks, and the highest intensity. Any clear finish of your choosing can be applied over the top, such as Briwax Danish or Teak Oil, or your choice of other finishes.
