- Sub-tropical evergreen tree
- Tasty, cannon ball shaped fruit
- Predominately self fertile, but will cross pollinate with bacon and fuerte
A handsome, sub-tropical evergreen tree selected for its tasty cannonball fruit. Fruit matures from February through June. Predominately self-fertile although cross-pollination with bacon or Fuerte may improve fruit set. Avocados require good drainage and wind protection.
Mulch heavily and water as required. Feed regularly during spring and summer with a high nitrogen fertiliser. Prune to shape and size. Should produce fruit 2-3 years after planting.
