Figs make ideal candidates for espalier or container planting. They love their roots being restricted and you do not have to have the large sprawling tree that your grandmother grew.

Forms a round top spreading tree up to 4-5m. Frost tolerant and deciduous. Figs love their roots restricted - Contain that Plant!
Furry skin. Very sweet, high solids. Bronze to dark brown/purple skin. Small to medium fruit with red flesh. Good for drying or preserving , prolific. Early to mid season cropping . Shape is conical. Spreading habit and can reach 4-5 metres if not pruned.
