- Winter flowering
- Sort after and excellent for cut flower and floral art work
- Two stages of picking - prior to flowers opening and after flowers have opened
- Great for a garden to add texture and difference
- Useful plant for the rear of a shrub border
An erect fine foliaged shrub. Flowers are borne in terminal clusters which begin as small green balls but as they develop they become cream in colour from Winter through to Spring. The white flowers eventually burst open from the small balls.
Pick the flowers as a form of pruning. Careful not to cut back too hard.
It is a very useful cut flower at various stages of the flower head development. Equally useful as a plant for the rear of a shrub border.
It is hard sensitive frost.
