- Coastal tolerant
A colourful compact rounded shrub that bears claret edged cream centered bracts with a flash of red in Winter to early Spring. To get the best colour colour, plant in an open sunny, airy position. Prefers free draining, slightly acidic soils.
Due to its compact growth, it requires only a very light prune to shape and size once flowering has finished.
A useful plant for rockeries or at the front of a shrub border. Will also make a nice patio container plant using low phosphorous potting mix.
