105mm African Violet - Saintpaulia ionantha

The much-loved African Violet has been around for generations and for a good reason. It is a highly decorated house plant, that under the right conditions, will flower several times a year. This compact plant has rosette-formed foliage set against striking blooms that may be single, double, frilly edged or bi-colour. With the right care, the African Violet is long-lasting. The most important rule of thumb is to not overwater and do not allow the plant to sit in water. A weekly water during the Summer should be sufficient to keep the soil moist. Choose a bright spot with plenty of natural light, avoiding direct sunlight for your plant. Window sills are ideal for maximum natural light.
