- New Zealand native flax
- Very easy care and hardy
- Like full sun/part shade
- Great for pots, garden beds and mass planting
This elegant New Zealand flax forms a tidy clump of olive green, spear-shaped leaves. In spring a flower spike emerges with bright yellow or red flowers. As these flower spikes age, they become woody, giving the plant an architectural character. This plant will give strong vertical accent to any planting and provide excellent foliage and flower structure to the landscape. Both the leaves and flower spike are excellent for cutting.
