Ceanothus Blue Carpet or Californian Lilac is an evergreen, low growing shrub with small green glossy leaves. In spring it is smothered in rich blue flowers. A great plant for adding a lovely splash of colour to rockeries or for spilling over walls and banks. A good choice for hot and dry conditions. Plant in free draining soil and an annual prune will prevent legginess and encourage vigour.
