Step by Step Instructions

1 Prepare to cut the bamboo benchtop
2 Cut the bamboo benchtop
  • Step 1. Prepare to cut the bamboo benchtop

Turn your benchtop upside down and protect the face underneath. Then measure and mark your cut line using a straight edge. Now prepare your saw by setting the depth of the blade so it is 10mm deeper than the thickness of the bench. This will help to give your cut a neat edge.
  • Step 2. Cut the bamboo benchtop

Use your straight edge as a guide for your saw. Clamp it next to your cut line, set back as far from the line as the edge of the base plate on your saw is from the saw blade. Once the straight edge is in place, cut the benchtop and your job is done.
