  • Step 1. Prime your pot

    Prime your terracotta pot with two coats of white acrylic paint and let dry.

  • Step 2. Start painting

    Once dry, mix your favourite coloured paint with some white paint to create a light pastel effect. Paint the pastel colour onto the primed pot and let dry.

  • Step 3. Marble spray effect

    Place the pot upside down onto a piece of newspaper or drop sheet. An adult will need to decorate the pot with the marble effect spray paint for you.
    Hold the spray can about 30cm away from the pot.
    Then spray the marble effect onto the pot in short 1 second bursts moving the can from left to right and up and down for the best coverage.
    Allow to dry.

  • Step 4. Add your plant

    Add some potting mix and a small succulent plant to finish it off.

  • Step 5. Perfect for a gift

    You can enjoy this pretty decoration for your home or give it as a gift.
