How to install and set timers on a smart irrigation system for your garden

When you need an easy way to keep your garden thriving and save on water use, a Bluetooth irrigation timer can give you total control and help you become water efficient. It connects to an app on your smartphone and enables you to program multi zones around your garden, even when you’re away from home.

1. Install a 9-volt alkaline battery

Start by installing a 9-volt alkaline battery into your new tap timer.

2. Download the Holman Water app

Download the free Holmam Water app from the App store or Google Play.

3. Turn phone Bluetooth on

Now check your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on.

4. Set the dial and zone on your phone

In the app, set the days you’d like to water your garden, the watering run times, and the start times in 24-hour format, up to three starts a day.

5. Select your watering times

In the app, set the days you’d like to water your garden, the watering run times, and the start times in 24-hour format, up to three starts a day.

6. Send your program to the timer

To send your program to the timer, press connect. Wait for the new screen to load, then hit download. Watering will start at the time you selected.

For multiple timers, just repeat the process!
