10 indoor D.I.Y. projects for winter

When it’s cold and wet outside, starting an indoor project is an excellent way to spend your winter. These D.I.Y. projects will keep you warm and help to brighten up every room in the house.

1. Keep the warm in and cold out

A lot of homes are under insulated and as the weather cools down, you quickly discover where your home needs some insulation. It is a relatively easy D.I.Y. job to install insulation. Another easy way to keep the warmth in is with draft excluders on your doors and thick blinds or curtains on windows.

2. Refresh your kitchen cupboards

You can give your kitchen a quick and easy facelift just by replacing the handles on your cupboards. All you need is a screwdriver, something to cut the screws to length and possibly a drill.
