  The Big Green Clean 4th - 11th September

 

   
Every year Bunnings Team members across New Zealand join forces on
'The Big Green Clean' in support of Keep New Zealand Beautiful's Clean Up Week. Bunnings Team members will take part in a day of litter collection to clean up local sports clubs, schools, churches, community centres, parks, gardens, streams and lakes. 


You are also invited to help.  Contact your local store now to find out where and when you can help with the Big Green Clean.

  Bunnings recycling goal is to focus on how we can improve the way we reduce, reuse and recycle throughout our business and
  operations.
 

Some of our achievements and current objectives include:

· Developed “Sustainable Packaging” to reduce the impact of
  packaging waste
· We continue to reuse and recycle cardboard in all our stores
· The web and e-newsletters are used as communication to reduce the 
  amount of paper we waste
· Removing plastic bag usage in our stores.
