 Flowers to Sow

Start regular spray cycles of Yates Shield or Super Shield on roses.Apply mulch around garden beds to maintain moisture, reduce weeds and soil erosion. Apply a side dressing of Thrive granular Rose Food or Acticote Roses and water in well.
 Vegies to Sow 
Use Yates Greenguard to protect seedlings against downy mildew. Keep on top of aphids with Natures Way Pyrethrum or Insect Spray. Protect seedlings with Yates Baysol or Blitzem.Support broad beans and feed with Thrive Flower & Fruit to encourage flowering and fruiting. 
 September Pruning 
Prune winter-flowering shrubs that have finished such as camellias, japonicas, grevilleas and correas.
 Fertilising in September
After bulbs finish flowering, continue watering with Thrive All Purpose until leaves die down completely.
 September Projects 

Control sap-sucking insects, including aphids, by spraying low toxic Yates Confidor.  Fertilise your lawn with a good quality fertiliser, such as Lush Lawn Lifter or Lawn Master.
