Flowers to Sow
	Maintain a good spraying programme for roses and ornamentals with Yates Super Shield and Confidor. Keep gardens well watered and mulched.
Vegies to Sow
	Control caterpillars and whitefly with Yates Mavrik or Target. Blight on tomatoes can be controlled with Yates Bravo. Powdery mildew on cucumbers can be controlled with Yates Copper Oxychloride. Control caterpillars on brassicas with Yates Success. Mound up potatoes to prevent damage from potato tuber moth.
December Pruning
	Prune lightly this month. Heavy pruning will expose plants to the hot summer sun.
Fertilising in December
	Annual flowers and vegetables will appreciate a liquid feed now such as Thrive Soluble Flower & Fruit.
December Projects
	Keep lawns well maintained with mowing, watering and feeding. Move indoor plants away from hot windowsills. Increase watering if needed. Repot winter and spring flowering orchids and indoor plants.
